Dropped out of college to become a writer; though he still works a part time job to make ends meet. Despite being mainly a light novel author, he started his career with a visual novel release which he wrote under the alias Kage Eiji. He's since been involved in one more visual novel release. Before that he was also part of a doujin group called "Soul Brothers". Nowadays he is writing a mystery series called "Masquerade and the Nameless Women"(殺人鬼探偵の捏造美学) for Kodansha Taiga.
