Released a large number of works in subculture magazines, comic magazines, and fashion magazines in the 80's and 90's, and thereby has been recognized as a manga artist representing the age. Major works include "Pink", "Happy house" and "River's Edge." On May 19th, 1996, she was hit by a drunk driver while walking near her home with her husband. She sustained serious injuries and took a hiatus as she recovered. Since then, she has released the occasional work.
